We carefully select instructors who are professionals in the dance industry and often hold degrees in dance education. They excel at working with all ages and are genuinely passionate about sharing the traditions of Mexican folk dance. In our ballet folklorico classes, students explore:

To get started in your first class, you’ll need:

• Attire: Comfortable clothing that allows for full movement.

• Footwear: To start, a clean pair of tennis shoes is perfect. As you progress, we’ll help you find the specialized shoes used specifically for ballet folklorico.
• Good to Know: We have practice skirts available at the studio for our students to use during class!

Are there dance recitals? 

Absolutely! Every Summer and Winter, our students have the opportunity to showcase their vibrant costumes and footwork on a professional theater stage. Unlike many other studios, we do not charge a fee for students to participate. All family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate your growth. We also love performing around the community and sharing the joy of ballet folklorico at local festivals and events.
