Not at all! While reading music can be beneficial, many successful ukulele players primarily use chord charts or tablature. At Learn The Arts!®, we introduce music reading at a pace that's comfortable for you. We also teach playing by ear and reading chord charts, ensuring you have a well-rounded skill set. Our goal is to make learning enjoyable and accessible, so we adapt our methods to suit your learning style and musical interests.

While having a ukulele at home is beneficial for practice, it's not absolutely necessary to start lessons. We have ukuleles available for use during your initial lessons. However, to progress and practice between sessions, we recommend obtaining an instrument. We can advise you on selecting the right ukulele based on your age, size, and musical interests.
